Fiona Stanley Hospital will be Western Australia’s most modern tertiary health campus when it opened in 2014.

Non-clinical services at Fiona Stanley Hospital will be delivered by Serco Australia under an innovative contracting arrangement that sets a new benchmark for health infrastructure projects. MBM was the lead Facilities Management consultant for the evaluation of the service delivery bids for the provision of non clinical services which include hard and soft facilities management, health records, fleet management, property management, recruitment and childcare services. MBM is providing ongoing services for the transitioning and mobilisation of this contract.

MBM’s extensive knowledge of differing procurement options, understanding of global innovations in service delivery, established library of industry tested procurement documentation and an understanding of key stakeholder requirements helped to ensure that the selected model delivered financial savings to WA Health. It also ensured innovative service solutions are developed and high standards are maintained throughout the life of the contract.
