Project Description:
MBM provided technical advisory services for the Royal North Shore Hospital Project, Orange and Associated Health Services PPP, Newcastle Mater and Long Bay Forensic and Prison Hospitals. Services included facilities management advisory services and ongoing contract administration and cost management to the project.
Benefit:
MBM’s work on health related PPP projects have lead the industry in the definition and scoping of health support services. This has included the development of new materials handling and logistics delivery methods including advanced robotics, and IT solutions providing automated updating of clinical and non-clinical systems. MBM advised on the commercial arrangements for energy savings and the implementation of tri-generation and renewable energy sources, together with the implementation of a new workforce models using Patient Support Assistances to support clinical functions and allow nurses to focus on delivery of clinical care.
