Charles Street Square, Parramatta

Situated at the Parramatta Quay, MBM delivered full quantity surveying services on the $12.9m upgrade to Charles Street Square.

An initiative of the Parramatta City Council, the project consisted of updates to the Charles Street Square and Parramatta Ferry Stop public domain.

The development’s key deliverables included demolition of the previous square and a reconstruction that incorporated new access ramps, pathways, soft and hard landscaping, bulk excavation, a new ferry waiting shelter, remediation of contamination, and archaeological works.

MBM was engaged for the provision of cost planning and estimating services from the concept design to the tender and construction stage.
