MBM was engaged to assist the National Gallery of Australia (NGA) with the provision and implementation of an Asset Management Improvement Plan (AMIP).

The AMIP is a two-stage process that includes the preparation and implementation of seven separate project scopes that will result in a step-change improvement in asset management across the organisation in order to appropriately manage its building, infrastructure and asset base.

The scope of services provided by MBM included a review of existing NGA data and information, planning and facilitation of stakeholder workshops, the development of an AMIP incorporating the 7 project scopes, and the managed implementation of the improvement plan following endorsement by NGA executive.

The preparation, planning, implementation and delivery of the 7 project scopes covered the following asset management documents:

  1. Asset Management System (Framework)
  2. Asset Management Policy
  3. Asset Management Strategy
  4. Strategic Asset Management Plan
  5. Asset Management Plans & Documentation
  6. Asset Management Information System
  7. Asset Performance, Condition, Monitoring & Evaluation and Asset Register
