The construction of Nangamay Public School was completed in March 2023 as part of the NSW Department of Education’s strategy to support students in growing communities. Situated in the Western Sydney suburb of Mulgoa, the purpose-built education facility has capacity for up to 420 pupils, contains 20 flexible learning spaces, a contemporary special programs unit, and features fantastic modern play areas. The development was planned in close consultation with local Aboriginal communities and incorporated the implementation of over 27,000 native Australian plants in the landscaping process.

MBM was engaged for cost management services tailored to Stage 1 of the development and provided guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle. The project team contributed to the Main Works Offer negotiations with Richard Crookes Construction and navigated budget requirements for the achievement of stakeholders’ expectations. Our consultants mitigated infrastructure complexities to ensure the innovative facilities could be delivered in alignment with the NSW Government’s design principles.
